A Day in Wicomico

2018

Public Art Master Plan .png

Design created by Landon "Chase" Gilbert, "A Day in Wicomico" is a series of twenty steel panels laser cut to spell out the words Riverwalk Amphitheater along the Route 13 boundary of the downtown amphitheater located along the river's edge.

Each panel is unique with etched scenery depicting various landmarks, leisure activities and local icons representing our local way of life.

The steel sculptures create a visual boundary for the amphitheater, to create privacy from the busy highway, while also serving as a landmark for those traveling by.

Made possible by the City of Salisbury's Mayors Office.
